All of our projects begin with an introductory call or visit (at no cost to you) where we can discuss the scope of work – what are your needs, wishes, concerns, timeframe, and budget.  This is a general review of the project, and does not go into specific design ideas or suggestions.

There are two options available after the introductory project discussion: a Quick Design Session or more detailed Project Management.

Home renovation, remodeling, or interior design projects can often cause our clients a headache! You may be looking for another opinion about your plans, or you may have more specific questions, including: How do I start? How do I finish? Do my design ideas fit my space?

The Quick Design Session is meant to be an ideal solution for these situations – two hours of discussing your options, making suggestions, brainstorming, and helping you visualize what you want to accomplish!

After the introductory call or visit has been completed and if you feel the Quick Design Session is right for you, we will schedule a Zoom (or other video conference) call or a visit to your location; from there, one to two hours will be spent working one-on-one to find solutions that fit your budget and your style.  Some of the standard design challenges we deal with during a Quick Design Session include:
    – Paint – picking the perfect paint color, whether it’s a single room or your entire home.
    – Flooring – selecting the best flooring option; from hardwood, stone, tile, carpet, or anything else.
    – Countertops – discussing the right countertop material (quartz, granite, Silestone, concrete, etc.) or even meeting you at the showroom to help pick and layout your cuts on the perfect slab.
    – New Home Materials – meeting with you and your builder to select styles and materials for your custom home.
    – Design 2nd Opinion – assisting you with a second opinion or any furniture or fixtures you are considering purchasing from a showroom or retailer (i.e., ZGallery, Restoration Hardware, Ikea, Crate & Barrel, Home Goods, etc.)
    – DIY Project Advice – helping you with advice when you are in the middle of a DIY renovation of your bathroom or kitchen.
Payment rates for Quick Design Sessions are standardized; there may be travel surcharges (depending on distance) and/or a weekend surcharge, but all discussions of costs will be made prior to the Session; you won’t be charged any surprise fees! Once the Quick Design Session is completed, you will receive detailed notes from the meeting so you know what are the next steps that you need to take, and will have actionable design tips that you can then act on at your discretion.

Yes – we are able to be as active in your project as you would like; if our involvement passes beyond the point of the Quick Design Session or conceptual consultation, a more formal agreement will be made (generally based on either a flat fee or hourly rate, with retainer).  Either way, all discussions of scope and payments will be made prior to the start of the project, so that you are fully aware of any costs involved.

We are based in Apopka but are willing to travel to you around the Central Florida area – Orange, Seminole, Lake, and Volusia Counties.  Travel outside that area would require discussion of additional travel fees.

Using our experience and education to present a designer outlook on the space you have and the project you are looking to accomplish, whether that be in a Quick Design Session or in more detailed Project Management.

Yes!

This is an option, but generally our clients prefer to be very involved in the project.

Our prices are based on real-world costs; TV shows are usually sponsored by large retailers (like Home Depot or Lowes) where designers and contractors are paid by the show production.  This allows their expenses (and therefore the prices) to be lower than they normally would be.

Absolutely!  We can definitely assist you in picking the right property for you; one that would meet your needs and has the potential you require.

Yes – we can assist in staging the property to create a better presentation and WOW factor; no matter how much we love our homes sometimes it can be difficult to understand how other perceive what we consider to be a comfortable living space.  Our expert eye can help make your property more attractive to a potential buyer.

Yes – we often are asked to make professional suggestions for the property in question (for staging purposes or otherwise).

Yes. Our expertise is necessary for them as they must create a great product that is appealing to the buyer’s eye while being cost-conscious.

We are able to handle both types of property, but mainly deal with residential locations.

Yes, we have a list of vendors that are trustworthy, skilled, and efficient.

Absolutely not. We work for you and try to find you the best product for your needs and your budget.

No, but we do have preferences that are selected based on your style and budget requirements; often, we are able to obtain Designer Discounts from these stores

This is dependent on our current workload but almost all consultations are made within 2-5 days of initial contact (and no later than 7 days).

We prefer group texting with everyone involved so keeping track of exchanged communication becomes simpler. At times, a phone call allows for faster discussion, but there will always be a text follow-up and confirmation of the items discussed.  Generally, e-mail is sufficient for file exchange, but for very large or complex projects cloud-based storage (Dropbox or similar) is available.

Generally, we handle small scale projects like bathroom and kitchen remodels, room editions, redesigning certain parts of the home, etc.  We do have experience with larger-scale projects as well.

Absolutely – this is ideal for the Quick Design Session. No job is a small job from our perspective – every project we work on requires (and receives) dedication and a detailed approach!
